Job Description
Counselors care for and live with campers as role models. As facilitators of campers' experience, counselors strive to raise self esteem, empower children to take on challenges and leadership opportunities, and foster the bunk group dynamic by actively participating in all camp activities offered by specialists. Excellent communication skills, group leading, childcare experience and love of nature are essential.
About the Camp
We are a non-profit Jewish environmental overnight camp for 3rd – 10th graders, located on 248 beautiful acres touching the Appalachian Trail, one hour north of New York City. Our co-ed, compassionate community supports each camper in developing leadership skills, exploring new interests and awakening a sense of purpose and joy.
