AVI CHAI Building Loan Program

Many camps are looking to upgrade their facilities but are unable to do the job alone.  The AVI CHAI Loan Program is an interest-free loan program developed to support nonprofit overnight camps in attracting and accommodating more campers. Qualified resident nonprofit Jewish camps are eligible for an AVI CHAI interest-free construction/renovation loan for up to $1 million.

Administered by FJC, this program is for construction and renovation projects that expand camper capacity as well as for those projects that upgrade accommodations or facilities, even if they don't increase the number of campers.

Specific requirements can be found in this document.

This is the application for the program. Instructions are included.
