Eden Village Camp

Eden Village Camp is the Jewish organic farm camp, located one hour north of NYC on 248 beautiful acres. It's the best of traditional sleepaway camp, plus an earth-based focus---the result is a meaningful and incredibly fun summer. In our pluralistic, kind community, each of our 8- to 16-year-olds develops leadership skills, explores new passions and awakens her/his sense of purpose, joy and positive Jewish identity. The Eden Village experience includes organic farming; animal care; culinary arts; wilderness trips; natural building; homegrown art, dance and music; creative writing, natural science, joyful Jewish practice; swimming and boating in the pool and lake; service projects; fort-building, scavenger hunts and much more. Our campers have fun while deepening their understanding and appreciation for themselves, their communities, and the natural world.

Eden Village is the only camp with an organic, made-from-scratch, farm-to-table kitchen. Campers learn, tend, harvest and of course eat from our educational Jewish organic farm, and their own bunkside "snack gardens". The exceptional, highly-trained staff (in a 3:1 camper:staff ratio) bring to life our vision of creating a more environmentally sustainable, socially just and spiritually connected world. Their “green” facilities showcase sustainable technologies, and they have a zero-waste goal. Eden Village is one of the most Jewishly-diverse camps around; they celebrate and welcome Jews of all backgrounds and experiences. Their program is designed to foster a culture of kindness and collaboration, where our campers feel free to be themselves and explore!
