An additional bunk, an updated dining hall, or a new sports facility may be the tipping point that gets a new camper in the door. Many camps are looking to upgrade their facilities but are unable to do the job alone.  Generously funded by the AVI CHAI Foundation, this program offers interest-free loans designed to support camps in attracting and retaining more campers.

Qualified resident nonprofit Jewish camps are eligible for an interest-free loan of up to $1 million for renovation and construction projects that upgrade accommodations or facilities. The Foundation for Jewish Camp administers all aspects of the loan program for the AVI CHAI Foundation, including application review.

Applications for the AVI CHAI Building Loan Program are closed at this time.
